The best cafés in Paris

Salut a tout le monde!

So after almost 5 months in Paris, I’ve gotten to know the city pretty well. Of course there is always more to discover in a city like this, but I’ve crossed of most of the things on my bucket list. But to be honest I’m spending a lot of my time on cafés, which is a big part of the Parisian culture. Here I have collected some of my favourite and best cafés here in Paris.

1. Season Paris
If you love a cozy and hipster café with delicious breakfast Season is the best. With their reasonable prices and delightful bowls of greek yogurt and musli, decorated with fresh fruit and granola Season is my favourite place to go for a non-french breakfast. They have base close in the 3rd district, just a couple of stops from Bastille.

2. Le Carette
Le Carette is one of the more expensive cafés to try in Paris, but one I’d recommended to try. It’s an amazing atmosphere, cozy from the cute, flowered cups and plates to great service to delicious food. It is described on their website as “one of Paris’s prettiest pâtisserie”, founded  1927 by Jean Carette and his wife Madeleine, There is 2 Carette cafés in Paris, one in le Marais and one close to the eiffel tower at Place du Trocadéro.

3. Le vrais Paris
Le Vrais Paris is located in a perfect spot in Montmartre, ideal to experience the atmosphere in (according to me) the best area in the city of lights. If you´re going there for a cup of coffee or a full meal, I can definitely recommended this lovely café. I’ve been there so many times since I first arrived in Paris, though I always preferred to sit outside by the street to really absorb the atmosphere. As I said you can find it in Montmartre in the 18th district.

4. Bistro François Félix

Bistro François Felix is located right next to Place De Concorde, very central at the very end of Champs Elysée. I’ve often went here for a cup of coffee and a pain au cocolate for breakfast, however their menus consists of various drinks and plates. The café is very cozy with a perfect location, especially if you have a lot on the program. This would be a great café to start a busy day in Paris!
